In this course, learners are introduced to management techniques, the management of financial resources through business accounting techniques, organizational theory, business , marketing and business promotion, and ethical business practices. This course covers a wide variety of fundamental topics that relate to management such as micro and macro economic principles. Learners explore the historical factors that affect the success of businesses in Canada, the different types of businesses competing in a global economy, and the entrepreneurial spirit and character to start a business.
