This course focuses on establishing the importance of project procurement management in the overall strategy of project management providing students with a detailed understanding of how key procurement activities are accomplished to deliver and support projects success. It aims to reflect PMI's standards and best practices when addressing project performance domains as they relate to procurement. The topics concentrate on the project procurement management knowledge area; specifically on plan procurement, conduct procurement and control procurement processes. Students are introduced to tools and techniques required to purchase or acquire products, services or results needed to complete the project while interacting from outside the project team.
