Students learn about Canada Border Services Agency (Customs and Immigration legacy) and how it ensures the security and prosperity of Canada by managing the access of people and goods to and from Canada. This course covers the legislation, duties, administration and enforcement of a Border Services Officer as it pertains to 90 various acts of Parliament including the Criminal Code of Canada, the Customs Act, and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act with particular emphasis on the admissibility/inadmissibility of persons entering Canada.
