This course will cover the process of incident response planning, detection, and response strategies, the design of recovery plans for environmental or manmade disasters, cyberterrorism and hacking. It will extend to risk assessment and business impact analysis. This course will cover costs and benefits associated with different network, database and storage techniques needed to assure business continuity. In the face of a disaster, the major focus of a business is to re-establish "business as usual". Learners will develop the necessary skills to establish continuity plans aimed at recovering core business process functionality that relates directly to Information Technology.
