Typography 2

This course will expand on the basic typographic disciplines learned in Typography 1 and will show typography to be an art form and a major component of the design process. To this end, the course will strive to combine typography and the disciplines of layout/design into practical design projects. The students will have an opportunity through theory, hands-on execution, and final critique to exercise their creative and technical ability, and at the same time develop a stronger appreciation for the many diverse aspects of typography and its communication value.
