Professional Development - POFD

This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for the process of applying to jobs in the area of justice studies through activities and assignments based upon real-world, present-day requirements. The practical components of this course will be enhanced through mock interviews, which allow the students to experience simulation and apply their competency skills in an atmosphere of experiential learning. Students will learn the importance of re-skilling and up-skilling to meet labour market trends. Students will learn how to use software and MS Word to create high-impact cover letters and resumes.
