The 2nd practicum contributes to students gaining further experience working in an assisting capacity with a qualified Speech-language Pathologist and/or Audiologist. This practicum experience gives students the opportunity to integrate and apply the theories and concepts explored in all preceding courses as well as from their initial experiences in Practicum I. As with Practicum I, a series of behavioral competencies is provided as a guideline to facilitate the understanding of students' learning objectives. In co-operation with the field placement agency, Durham College provides support in practicum monitoring and evaluation guidelines.
