Applied Mathematics

This course is intended to help students develop an appreciation of mathematics and how it relates to the world around them, enabling them to apply mathematical concepts to solve problems that model the physical world. Applied Mathematics (MATH 1310) covers topics such as arithmetic, algebra, ratio and proportion, percent, measurement, and geometry. Each topic emphasizes real-world application problems that will help you apply what you learn in this course to your daily life.
