Art Of Photography

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of capturing visual images with a camera. The technical and visual components of the photograph will be explored as well as basic image manipulation techniques. Students will receive instruction in the use of digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera. The student will be required to manually adjust shutter speed and aperture. Assignments will include the use of composition, depth of field, portrait shooting on location, studio photography, and image editing.
