Construction Site Safety

In this course students will apply the principles of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) as it applies to a variety of building, construction and mechanical trades. Students will develop job site analysis skills including hazard identification and analysis and the correct use of personal protective equipment. Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHIMIS) training and certification is included in this course along with the opportunity to complete the Working at Heights Certification.
