In this course, students will develop foundational research literacy skills and knowledge required to seek and appraise evidence for clinical decision-making within the massage therapy profession. Students will become familiar with ethical research processes, qualitative and quantitative research designs, data collection tools and analysis used in healthcare research. By the end of the semester, students will develop a literature review analyzing evidence-based research related to the massage therapy profession.
