Applied Behaviour Analysis is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviours. Applied Behaviour Analysis is considered the most effective, evidence-based, therapeutic approach for supporting learning for people with autism as they transition through their life stages. In addition to basic terminology, students learn when and how to use these techniques appropriately to change behaviours and plan for generalization. Students also learn how to access and interpret journal publications in the field of autism and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
