Introduction to Group Dynamics

This course provides a theoretical framework for understanding group work interactions. The student will learn about the nature, dynamics, and characteristics of effective group processes and be given the opportunity to work in small groups in order to apply theory to authentic group experiences. The learning experiences will be enhanced by utilizing the process of self-reflection and feedback in understanding the relevance of theory to each student as an individual and to group practice.
