Relational Practice 1

This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts, principles and procedures underlying the characteristics of Relational Practice. Using the domain of Developmental Practice Methods found in Child and Youth Care Work and an evidence-informed practice, emphasis will be placed on understanding the therapeutic milieu and life-space, how to effectively intervene with clients, how to develop a basic intervention plan, and creating therapeutic programs and activities.
