This course introduces students to the regulatory requirements and industry best practices for the development of analytical project plans, as well as sample collection techniques of designated substances as part of the various stages within the lifecycle of an environmental project. Measuring and analysing pollutants in air, water, and soil is paramount in understanding impacts on human health and the environment. This laboratory, field and lecture course will explore equipment, strategies, methodologies, instrumentation and measuring techniques to assess different contaminants exposure for regulatory compliance, risk management and reporting requirements.
