Entrepreneurship for Financial Services

The goal of the course is to apply concepts students have learned from the various functional areas of business to the process of starting and managing a small financial service business. Students will evaluate the business skills and commitment necessary to successfully operate their own business. Students will identify personal traits, resources and goals as they explore the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. Students will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and create a business plan for a new venture.
