Prior to attending the first field observation or volunteer shift, students will be provided with several in-class and/or online clinics/modules stressing appropriate adherence to policies, procedures and behavioral expectations for their field placement. Further to this, the importance of time management, professionalism, and other skill sets required for the various career options will be emphasized and practiced. Students participate in event security during college/university athletic events and shift(s) with a by-law enforcement agency.
