Ventilation and AIr Conditioning Systems

Examine thermal management systems, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service and maintenance, and passenger compartment air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems (HVAC) of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. Identify the thermal management system in electric and hybrid vehicles. Recognize vehicle-specific maintenance tasks through hands-on learning. Note: Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification for handling refrigerants is required prior to this module or can be completed during the first week of the module.
