Estimating

The difference between profit and loss is an essential fundamental of being a successful renovator or sub-trade. Students will learn to estimate material costs and create a working budget with a focus on being competitive and profitable. Students will analyze and calculate labour and material costs and material costs. A strong focus on the concept of overhead, expenses, and contingencies will enable students to understand and anticipate overages and extras common in a renovation.
