Sample Management

Laboratory workflow analysis and evaluation are integral part of any laboratory environment. Students taking this course will gain an understanding of the complexity of laboratory system that consists of the receipt, organization, prioritization, and transmission of information. The course will discuss the movement of laboratory samples from collection to analysis and storage to emphasize the importance of process control as an essential component of the quality management system in the laboratory. The laboratory component will complement lecture content to further develop skills associated with the lifecycle of the sample in the lab according to the requirements in industry.
