Building on the principles learned in HLTH 1205 and HLTH 2107 students will apply a variety of health and fitness related principles to continue to improve their fitness and well being. Students will understand and recognize potential health problems associated with shift work and a demanding job in Law Enforcement and be aware of appropriate strategies to deal with these health problems. Warrior 21 strategies for resilience and mental wellness will be investigated. A stronger emphasis on the PREP, PARE, Police Fitness Test, FORCE, FITCO and OPFA testing standards will prepare students to challenge these testing protocols as they look to the recruitment process for constable selection.
