Field Placement and Seminar

This course consists of field placement and in-class seminar work. The field placement requirement allows students the opportunity to integrate Animal Care theory into practice. The student is required to complete the assigned hours of field placement in a community setting which provides animal care service. The seminar component of the course is a mandatory 1 hour/week class that is scheduled on the student's timetable. In the seminar class, the student will have the opportunity to discuss issues pertaining to field placement.
