Hospital Info Systems

Students will utilize hospital information software (HIS) commonly used in facilities across Canada and the United States to complete essential tasks such as order entry, out-patient and in-patient registration, and community-wide scheduling. Students will learn the fundamentals of hospital organization, filing systems, and process electronic, pre-printed, and handwritten doctor's orders.
