Pavement Engineering

This course focuses on three areas of pavement engineering. The first part teaches the various types of pavements and their properties. The second part deals with the design of rigid and flexible pavements by following the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Ministry of Transportation –Ontario (MTO) guidelines. Finally students gain knowledge on pavement evaluation and pavement maintenance.
