Medical Transcription

Students will learn how to transcribe medical reports such as history & physical, operative, and discharge summaries. Use Microsoft Word, transcription software and foot pedals to create health records. A brief review of relevant grammar and punctuation rules, along with an introduction to specific rules for medical transcription will be provided.
