What is the structure of the human brain? How does it control our body? What causes our muscles to contract? Why are fungi and protists important? What causes pollution and what can we do to prevent it? These questions will be answered in Biology II as we continue to solidify students' understanding of life processes. In this semester we continue learning about animal physiology with a focus on the nervous and cardiovascular systems, as well as the growth and reproduction of plants. We also continue to learn about biodiversity and environmental science by investigating ecosystems, pollution, and the lives of microorganisms.
