Pathophysiology II continues (from Pathophysiology I) the study the pathogenesis of disease in the human body. Common diagnostic tests will be examined and how they are utilized in the process of diagnosing disease and prognostic outcomes. Using a systems approach specific diseases and disorders will be discussed to apply learned concepts and their effect on the structure and functioning of human body. Basic treatment modalities will be reviewed as a foundation of learning which will be expanded upon in clinical placement.
