Behavioural Skill Building

A comprehensive review of procedures, for choosing and organizing behavioural interventions for individuals with autism across the life span, is provided. Students review basic behaviour principles and teaching strategies. Emphasis will be placed on curriculum development such as the utilization of the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills - Revised (ABLLS-R). Importance is placed on teaching those behaviours which will facilitate inclusion in natural environments.
