Highway and Transportation Engineering I

This course will introduce students to basic transportation and traffic engineering technology, including road classification and design according to Canadian standards and guidelines. The student will apply the practical aspect of road design elements such as the sight distances, super-elevation, horizontal and vertical alignment as well as rigid and flexible pavement design.
