Students develop community outreach programs and activities for various audiences and communities. Emphasis is on preparing students to qualify for a NFPA 1035 level II, Fire and Life Safety Educator. Students develop the necessary skills to develop policies, manage and deliver educational programs and/or workshops for fire and life safety for members in the community. Students learn to budget, plan and develop educational programs and strategies within the context of fire and life safety.
