This course requires the student to work in an unpaid position with an employer that has been approved by the Field Placement Coordinator for a minimum of 160 hours performing tasks appropriate to the skills of a successful 3rd year student in the Computer Programming & Analysis program. During the placement, the student will complete tasks, be evaluated by the employer on their job performance and be evaluated by the Field Placement Coordinator based on the completion and submission of required assessments. Field placement assignments will provide the opportunity to apply skills learned in the program in a real business environment. The tasks assigned will develop knowledge, experience and confidence to pursue an Information Technology career.
