Exterior Finish

Successful completion of this course will allow the learner to select, and safely use a wide variety of tools common in the installation of various exterior finishes in Residential Construction. Learners will have the knowledge to install proper flashings, capping, weatherproofing and trim components prior to installing, soffit, fascia, eaves trough, along with+ several types of sidings such as vinyl, aluminum, board & batten, brick, cultured stone, as available in current residential construction. This course will also introduce students to deck construction with knowledge of the proper installation of railings, balusters and other safety related items based on the Ontario Building Code.
