In an interactive learning environment, students will develop skills and techniques for effective, ethical and professional courtroom and tribunal advocacy. Students will put into practice the skills, strategies and best practices to draft pleadings, follow the rules of evidence and prepare witnesses; present opening and closing arguments, conduct direct examinations and cross-examinations, challenge expert evidence and prepare appeal factums. Students will have an opportunity to reflect on their performance and demonstrate improvement through subsequent presentations and simulated, experiential activities that mirrors best practices in courtroom litigation.
