Event Site and Logistics Planning

Focusing on the organizational principles associated with the successful operation of festivals, events or conferences, this course will offer students the opportunity to explore aspects of event planning related to on site logistics. Topics will include: conducting site inspections and analysis; developing floor plans and event space layouts; vendor management; shipping considerations; event registration; parking; and food & beverage service management.
