This course provides a systematic review and summation of learning acquired in the paramedic program. Extended topics include emergency planning and response, vehicle operations, public education and an introduction to advanced care and research. Activities geared towards preparation provincial certification exams are also planned. A case-based approach to learning and instruction will assist the learner in the acquisition and consolidation of critical thinking and decision making strategies. It will also allow learners to develop the skills necessary to evaluate the current evidence base for the management and care of patients.
