This course is to aid in the development of the Technician, the understanding, ability, and confidence to recognize and troubleshoot complex industrial processes of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. The material introduced will give the student the basics for an ever changing and challenging field of instrumentation. The student will also identify the four basic elements of a control system and explain the two general categories of automatic control. While studying PID control they will learn the advantages and limitations and explore the trial-and-error tuning method.
