Professional Practice IV

Building on concepts learned throughout the program, this clinical course is focused on applying concepts learned in NURS 4506. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic nursing strategies. Students will demonstrate caring, competency, connectedness, health promotion, critical thinking, problem solving, in a professional manner as they partner with clients to develop and apply nursing approaches that supports the clients (individuals, families and groups) with a variety of health challenges in the acute care setting.
