Materials, Manufacturing, and Engineering Management

Materials, Manufacturing, And Engineering Management is an introduction and overview of product transformation. In this course, we establish an understanding of New Product Development and its elements as well as different types of manufacturing processes. This course also introduces Supply Chain and Operations Management students to the basic techniques of engineering drawings, their interpretation and their components. Students will be exposed to variety of manufacturing techniques, their characteristics and manufacturing related materials. The course concludes with providing basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of metrology and some basic measuring tools as well as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
