FAQs WHAT IS FASTSTART? FastStartDC is a free program designed to increase entrepreneurial awareness and skills while helping students create solid business plans that take their products and services to market – quickly and successfully. FastStart is available all year-round. I HAVE A BUSINESS IDEA. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? The first step to get started is to complete our Intake form. You can also bring your idea to the FastStartDC office at located at the CFCE building, in the 360insights Entrepreneurship Centre (Room 123). We would love to meet you, review your business idea and get you registered for our ‘FS360’ program. Every student starts with this free, online, DC Connect course! We support you the whole way through and we understand that every business is different - so we will work to create a program that works for you. WHERE IS FASTSTART LOCATED? Our physical location is on the 1st floor of the CFCE building in the 360insights Entrepreneurship Centre, at DC’s Oshawa Campus. WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION? FastStartDC is open for our one-on-one coaching services and marketing support, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. However, participants can work on FS360 – the online program at any time, and it is accessible from anywhere in the world. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ACCESS FASTSTARTDC’S SERVICES? To work with FastStartDC, you must be a current Durham College student. WHO CAN HELP ME GET STARTED WITH FASTSTARTDC?
