Yes, you apply to Durham College first. Then, once you’ve applied, you can apply to the Schulich Builders Scholarship starting on March 1. What happens if I accept my offer to Durham College but do not receive the scholarship? There are many opportunities for financial support for Durham College students. You can learn more about them on our financial aid web page. How are scholarship winners selected? Is there a lottery system? Scholarship applications are adjudicated by the Faculty of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship. Several factors are taken into consideration including nominations, references, and financial need. Do I have to be OSAP recipient to be eligible? You need to have applied for OSAP or will be applying to OSAP to provide financial assistance to complete your program.
