Start Strong Series: Equity and Belonging at DC

The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (OEDI) at DC promotes and cultivates an enduring sense of belonging for all members of the DC community through on-going education, advocacy and support. This session will provide you with opportunities to engage with the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion staff through discussions and Q +A about the ways that we can show up and start strong at Durham College in September. We will look at the ways that we, together, can champion a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging at DC through how we operate within our individual sphere of influence- our day-to-day interactions with peers, faculty and staff and our community. We will also provide participants with a deeper understanding about the resources and supports available through the OEDI to address the various ways in which inequities can manifest in our daily lives.
