    Join First Peoples Indigenous Centre for a Traditional Teaching with Dorothy Taylor. Elder Dorothy has provided her knowledge of the Anishinaabe Creation story and shared teachings on the interconnectedness of water and all living beings. Indigenous peoples are caretakers of Mother Earth and recognizing and honoring these stories are essential to respecting Indigenous ways of knowing. We welcome Elder Dorothy for this week's session.     Join us for Bannock and Books, an Indigenous book club series collaborating with Ontario Tech & Durham Colleges First Peoples Indigenous Center. This book club is designed to bring hearts and minds together as we explore various topics about Indigenous culture, ways of knowing, and experiences. Participants are invited to read our featured book and then join us virtually as we come together and discuss our learning.
