The Cypher: Black Male Empowerment conference

This conference is an initiative of the Durham District School Board (DDSB), to expose young black male students to the breadth of career and educational opportunities and supports they have at their fingertips, as one key way to combat anti-black racism within the education system.

The Cypher will be held on Wednesday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oshawa campus primarily in the CRWC gymnasiums and will welcome approximately 400 students in grades 7 to 10.
