DC’s Alumni of Distinction Award

College now accepting nominations for 2022 Alumni of Distinction award

Oshawa, ON – Durham College (DC) is now accepting nominations for its Alumni of Distinction award, which recognizes graduates who make extraordinary contributions to society while also achieving career success.

Recipients are selected from a network of more than 100,000 alumni based on professional, community and personal accomplishments, contributions to the advancement of DC, and the geographic (regional, national, and international) scope of impact for their achievements.

“Every year we showcase the incredible ways our alumni are innovating and enacting positive change within their industry and community,” said Don Lovisa, president, DC. “This tradition of excellence not only recognizes those notable alumni, but it also reminds our students and graduates that their education at Durham College can be the spark to ignite career success.”

Since 1990, over 100 graduates have received the Alumni of Distinction honour.

The awards will be presented at DC’s Spring Convocation in June.

Please note: Active DC employees and current members of Durham College Board of Governors and Durham College Alumni Association Board of Directors are not eligible for nomination.
