Durham College to welcome thousands of visitors at Spring Open House, April 12

Oshawa, Ont. – On Saturday, April 12, thousands of prospective students and their families will fill the halls of Durham College (DC) for Spring Open House, discovering how DC’s 145+ programs prepare graduates with the in-demand skills and real-world experience employers are looking for.

Guests can connect directly with expert faculty members, tour innovative, state-of-the-art facilities like the Centre for Collaborative Education and the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food and learn about the comprehensive range of student services designed to enhance their experience. Attendees can also apply for free to their programs and take home some DC merchandise.

Spring Open House is a valuable opportunity to show visitors all that DC has to offer and how the college is constantly evolving to meet the shifting needs of students and industry, according to Dr. Jean Choi, Vice President, Academic and Students.

“At Durham College, we’re focused on more than just education — we’re building pathways to success. Through hands-on learning, modern facilities, and strong industry connections, we prepare our students to thrive in a rapidly changing world,” said Dr. Choi. “We’re thrilled to open our doors to welcome visitors to experience firsthand what makes DC such a dynamic place to learn and grow.”
