At Fall Open House, we open our doors to showcase the best of Durham College (DC) – and we need your help!
On Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Durham College (DC) will welcome prospective students and their families to our Oshawa and Whitby campuses for one of our biggest recruitment events of the year. As a current DC student, there’s a good chance you attended an Open House event yourself. If so, you know that we strive to make it a welcoming, engaging, and memorable experience, and our students play a key role in making that happen.
As a volunteer, you can:
- Greet and connect with prospective students and their families, creating a friendly and welcoming experience.
- Share your DC experience by answering questions about campus life, facilities, services, programs, and opportunities available to students.
- Showcase what we offer, including our 145+ programs and wide selection of supportive student services.
- Help guests make the most of their visit by giving campus tours, providing general event assistance, and offering support in the Apply Now room.
Ready to share your DC pride? Please register online by Friday, October 16. All student volunteers are required to register, even if you are supporting your program. This helps us coordinate student involvement for the event.
