Mandatory in-person tour guide training will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 (Oshawa) and Wednesday, April 9 (Whitby). Online Training All participants should view the training resource below prior to Open House which includes important day-of event information. If you have registered as a tour guide, parking attendant, welcome committee, or general event support, you received your role via email on Monday, April 7 from openhousevolunteers@durhamcollege.ca. Event Details PARTICIPANT ARRIVAL Tour guides, parking attendants, general support and welcome committee participants will meet their team lead at 9 a.m. in the participant room. SW201 and SW202 (Oshawa) Shop Class 7 (Whitby) Faculty booth and break-out room participants should proceed to meet their team upon arrival. PARKING Please follow the event parking signs: Commencement Lot (Oshawa) Whitby Main (Whitby) Event Catering Coffee, tea, and granola bars will be available in the participant room upon arrival. Lunch will also be served during the event. A short lunch break will be coordinated with your team lead between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dress Code DC employees should wear the clothing item provided through the DC-branded apparel program.
