Dan Labecki Posted on July 9, 2026 at 3:41 pm. Dan Labecki brings nearly two decades of experience in web design education, front-end development and digital media instruction. A graduate of Durham College’s Web Development program, he also holds a Master of Education in Digital Literacy from Ontario Tech University. Over the past 18 years as a professor at Durham College, Dan has taught courses in front-end development, responsive web design, UI/UX, prototyping and digital design. His teaching blends design thinking with current development standards, helping students create engaging, accessible and user-centred digital experiences. Combining hands-on production with industry-relevant practices, Dan equips students with strong foundations in HTML, CSS, responsive design and visual communication while preparing them for an evolving digital landscape.
