Graphic design students gain global insight at packaging summit

Durham College Graphic Design students attended the PAC Global Awards at the Futures Edge Summit, held at the Royal Conservatory of Music.

The event connected students with leading designers, innovators and changemakers in the global packaging industry. Expert-led sessions explored how international retailers and emerging brands are redefining packaging through creativity, sustainability and bold storytelling.

The experience provided valuable insight into industry trends, real-world applications and evolving consumer engagement strategies. Students also expanded their professional networks, gaining exposure to potential career pathways in packaging, branding and design.
