Industry leader Julian Franklin inspires students during class visit

Students in Durham College’s (DC) Sport Business Management program had the unique opportunity to learn from Julian Franklin, a respected industry leader and mentor whose career spans the Toronto Blue Jays, Kraft Heinz, and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd. During his visit to the Revenue Generation for Sport class, Julian shared insights on curiosity, authenticity, and the power of relationships, giving students a firsthand look at how these qualities drive success. His visit also reinforced the program’s commitment to connecting students with industry professionals and providing real-world experiences that inspire and prepare them for careers in sport and entertainment.
